Advanced 3-D
The ADVANCED 3-D program is designed to further develop the skills and techniques of the returning student. Students are encouraged to express themselves creatively in ceramics, metals, stained glass, sculpture, printmaking and other related materials. Emphasis will not only be on creative design, but on the quality of craftsmanship through a correct understanding of the materials and techniques. It is a course that can be selected each semester for additional credit and experience.
Two of the most exciting projects that Advanced 3-D students created last year were a traditional Indigo Japanese Haori and a Ceramic Animal Sculpture. Here is a look inside each of those projects.
