3D-9

The Art 3D 9 program is taught by Mrs. Porter and is offered to all students as an elective for grade 9.  This course is for one semester.  The purpose of the course is to introduce 9th grade students to slightly more advanced techniques and projects.  This course covers Three Dimensional Art areas such as Clay, Metals and Mosaic and also involves an Art Criticism research paper.  The course is designed as a general enrichment class as well as a skill-building class for the student that may elect to explore art while at the High School. This course can be taken as a precursor to Art I but is not a requirement to enter Art I.
