Chartwells and Indiana Area School District are dedicated to providing quality nutritious meals that students will enjoy and choose to eat.  If a student has a food allergy, parents should contact the school nurse, who will notify the cafeteria manager. 

Elementary students may purchase breakfast for $1.25 and lunch for $2.45.  Junior and senior high students may purchase breakfast for $1.25 and lunch for $2.75.  Milk can be purchased for $0.50.  Adult breakfasts are $1.80 and adult lunches are $3.70.  

If you feel your child may be eligible for free or reduced lunches, please fill out the free and reduced lunch application mailed to your home.  If you decide to apply later in the school year or have a change in household size or income, you can obtain a new application from your child’s school office.  The reduced price is $.40 for lunch and $.30 for breakfast. 

School breakfast and lunch menus are sent home with elementary school students monthly.  Menus for secondary students are posted and available in classrooms and in the cafeterias.   Menus can also be accessed from this page.

 

INFORMATION FOR MEALS FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE ATTENDING VIRTUALLY

If your school-age child attends Indiana Area School District and will not be attending in school in person every day, you have the option of picking up breakfast and lunch for the days your student will not be physically present in their assigned building. Students who are 100% virtual, students in grades 7 - 12 who are attending school based on the hybrid model and 6th graders who will not be attending school on Wednesdays can receive meals for any instructional days that they are not scheduled to be in school. The meals will be distributed every Wednesday at the Indiana Area Senior High School from 11 am to 1 pm.

Please use the link to the form below to pre-order. If you have questions, contact Holly Hartman at hhartman@iasd.cc. This form needs to be filled out for every student for whom you are requesting meals. A new form must be filled out every week you are requesting meals.
 
Pre-orders due by September 18, 2020. You will receive a confirmation email by 3:00 pm the Monday before the Wednesday pickup. If you do not receive the confirmation email you will not be allowed to pick up meals. This must be strictly enforced.
