IASD is seeking volunteers to be a part of our Comprehensive Planning Committee.

Over the past few weeks, several school districts in the IU28 region, including four of the seven districts in Indiana county, have experienced at least partial shutdowns due to COVID-19.

The District was notified today of five additional positive COVID-19 cases, two cases at the Senior High School and three cases at the Junior High.

The IJHS Forensics Team not only placed in all four of the categories they competed in at the Five County Junior High Forensics League Tournament held Thursday, November 12, but four members placed first in three of them.

With support from the NSF and NSA, IUP is offering a FREE cybersecurity virtual camp for middle and high-school students.

he District was notified of a positive case of COVID-19 at Horace Mann Elementary.  This is the first active case at that school the entire year.

The District was notified today of two additional positive COVID-19 cases, one case at Ben Franklin Elementary School and another case at the Senior High.  The Department of Health (DOH) worked with the School Nurse and Administration on both matters and contacted the individuals who needed to be quarantined as a result of the positive cases due to exposure.

The District was notified of a positive case of COVID-19 at the Junior High School.  This is the second active case within the current two-week window.

The District was notified of two additional positive cases of COVID-19 over the weekend as well as another staff member who was identified as a “probable positive.”
