Congratulations to two IASD elementary students who were recognized for their entries in the 2021-2022 Pennsylvania PTA Reflections Contest. This year’s theme was "I Will Change the World By..."
Hope Popson (Horace Mann Elementary School) was recognized with an Award of Merit in the “Photo - Intermediate” category for her photograph entitled "Sinnemahoning Reservoir.”
Avery Schneider (East Pike Elementary School) earned an Award of Excellence in the “Visual Arts - Primary” category for his art project entitled "My Four Chambers Will Change the World.”
Avery’s project has advanced to the National PTA Reflections Contest for judging. PA PTA recognizes up to a maximum of 5 students in each art category and grade division.
Congratulations to Avery and Hope, and thank you to all students who took time to think about the theme and submit entries. May all our students continue to seek positive ways to change the world!
