Dear Families,
The District was notified of five (5) positive cases of COVID-19 this past week: two (2) at the Indiana Area Junior High School, one (1) at the Indiana Area High School, one (1) at Ben Franklin Elementary, and one (1) at Eisenhower Elementary. Four out of the five of the cases will be attributed to the District’s 10-day rolling average. The Department of Health (DOH) worked with the school nurses and administration and concluded that zero (0) additional students/staff members are required to be quarantined.
We continue to see dramatic drops/decreases in the number of positive cases we are dealing with as a District. I know this pandemic has been difficult for so many of us for a variety of different reasons. I want to personally thank you all again for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work through this pandemic.
