Computerized Debit System - My School Bucks

Computerized Debit System - My School Bucks
The system works like this:
  1. Each student is provided their own school-issued id/barcode card. After the card is presented
to the cafeteria worker and scanned, the student’s account and photograph will appear on the
cashier’s computer touchscreen. There is no charge for the meal, but any a la carte purchase will
automatically be deducted from the account.
  2. To ensure a balance is available for your student to purchase a la carte extras, students may
deposit money onto their account by giving a check or envelope containing cash, labeled with
name and I.D number, to the cashier at breakfast. Junior and Senior High students may drop off
their deposit in a designated lock box located near the office in each building. Families may also
pay online at myschoolbucks.com. The fee for using this online service is minimal and waived
during the months of August, September, and January. No deposits will be accepted as students go
through the serving line at lunch.
