All are invited to Anthropology's annual Community Archaeology Day on the ground floor of McElhaney Hall and the lawn adjoining on Saturday, Oct. 10th from 12-3:00. We'll have many activities (and food!) for all ages, including spear throwing, prehistoric technologies, artifact displays, mock excavation, and a kids room (for the young and young at heart).
Please feel free to stop by and support the archaeology program, especially the graduate students in the Public Archaeology class who have put a lot of thought and preparation into this student-led event!
