On Friday, May 15th, Indiana Junior High School participated in and hosted the 5th Annual Southwestern PA Combat Bots Middle School League Competition.
The program, started by Indiana Junior High School Technology Education teachers Mr. Michael Dolges and Mr. Scott Herrington, started in 2022 and now has 9 participating school districts. Indiana sent 5 bots into the competition, winning the following awards:
Grand Champion: F.R.E.D. - Hala Abulaila, Brooklyn Braun, Ethan Hoffman, Benson Jackson, Teddy Pruger, and Kellan Reed
1st Place Documentation Portfolio: Bobzilla - Adalyn DeLeo, Elizabeth Gawel, Elliana Reed, Kendall Russell, and Adrian Shively
2nd Place Documentation Portfolio: Plantation of Pain (P.O.P) - Kyle McCachren, Riley Federspiel, Carter Innocenti, Ben Knudsen, Brexin McConnell
