INDIANA AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT

Today, thirteen Eisenhower Elementary Enrichment Students participated in the annual STEM Design Challenge hosted by ARIN IU 28. Their challenge was to design a section of a factory that produces a product using sustainable practices. The students prepared by visiting the Indiana Gazette press room to see manufacturing up close. They then researched ways to minimize waste and maximize efficiency, prepared K'NEX prototypes to show how their machine works, and presented their research and prototypes to the event judges. We are proud of our IKE students that represented IASD at today's competition!
