IASD FUN Club History

The F.U.N. Club originated at Eisenhower Elementary School in September 2004 as a result of the school becoming a Keystone Healthy Zone, part of the PANA (Pennsylvania Advocates for Nutrition and Health) initiative.  The F.U.N. Club was started by faculty and staff in an effort to get the children involved in a big way.

Amy Swartz, then an Eisenhower sixth grader, submitted her winning design -- the current F.U.N. Club logo -- to the school's F.U.N.  Club logo contest.

Beginning in October 2007, the F.U.N. Club became bigger and better by involving ALL Indiana Area School District elementary students.   Where will the F.U.N. Club go from here?  It's up to the 1,400 students who are now eligible to participate!   Get out there and have some F.U.N.!
