Guidelines for
Audience Concert Attendance
Our students
rehearse for their concerts each week during the school year.
In order to offer to them the audience attention they deserve, we are
asking parents and children to remember the following guidelines for appropriate
concert etiquette:
·
All children not participating in the
concert will be seated with their parents.
·
Children who are not performing will not be in the hallways alone for any reason during the concert. Children left unattended in the hallways during the concert
will be escorted to their families in the audience.
· Please limit flash pictures and lights on video cameras to transitions between selections. Flashes and bright lights “blind” performers, distracting them and making it impossible for them to watch the conductor as instructed. Be sure to turn the sound off all cell phones and pagers during the program.
·
Trips in and out of the auditorium should
be made only if absolutely necessary. If
unavoidable, they should be made in between songs or sections of the
performance.
· If you have a young child who is having difficulty sitting through the performance, please feel free to exit and take care of his or her needs whenever necessary.
Thank you for your continued support of our music program! Without you, our concerts would not be possible!
