Immunizations
Proof
of immunizations must be presented for all students upon registration.
Kindergarten through 6th grade immunization requirements are as follows:

4 doses (one on or after age 4) |
| Pertussis | Recommended but not required |
| Polio | 3 doses and booster recommended after age 4 |
| Measles (Rubeola) | 2 doses with first dose given after age 1 and recommended in the form of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) |
| Mumps | 1 dose recommended in the form of MMR |
| 1 dose recommended in the form of MMR | 1 dose recommended in the form of MMR |
| Hepatitis B (HBV) | 3 dose series given over 6 months |
All
secondary students are required to have 3 doses of Diphtheria / Tetanus, 3
doses of Polio, 2 doses of Measles (recommended in the form of a MMR), 1
dose mumps, and 1 dose of Rubella.
Additional
requirements beginning with the school year 2003-2004 include: Varicella
(chicken pox) immunity either from vaccination, history of disease or
laboratory testing for students entering school for the first time
(Kindergarten or first grade) and for students entering seventh
grade; and 3 doses of Hepatitis B vaccine for students entering seventh
grade.
Medical
and moral religious objections to the required immunizations can be
discussed with the school nurse on an individual basis.
