This independent study course in Chemistry exposes students to research and to topics not covered in depth in AP Chemistry.  Topics include Transition Metal Chemistry, Kinetics, and the Chemistry of Abandoned Mine Drainage. The Copper Chemistry project is a being done in cooperation with Dr. Wendy Elcessor at Indiana University of PA.  Students work under the direction of Mr. Palko, the AP Chemistry teacher at I.H.S.
