CLASSROOM RULES

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU!
1. BE ON TIME for class, this means that you are in the room when the bell rings. IF YOU ARE LATE A SECOND TIME, YOU WILL HAVE EARNED A DETENTION AFTER SCHOOL WITH ME. If you need to go to your locker, get a drink, or use the restroom, please take care of those things before the bell rings.
2. Be PREPARED for class. Have your notebook, pen, pencil, and any assignments that are due for that day. You should always be ready to participate, listen, and learn.
3. At the end of the period, stay in your seats. I DISMISS you, not the bell.
4. Raise your hand and wait to be recognized before speaking.
5. Do not leave the room without permission or a pass.
6. Remember to respect and treat others (including the teacher) as you would like to be treated. Inappropriate comments to each other or to the teacher will not be tolerated.
8. Use of playing cards, cell phones, i-pods, or any other electronic devices as specified in the school handbook will not be tolerated. If seen, they will be taken and you can pick them up in the office at the end of the day.
9. Passing of notes during class is not acceptable. If I see it, I will take it.
10. Unless we are finished with class work for the day, working on assignments from other classes is not allowed.
11. Academic honesty is expected at all times
12. Grooming oneself in class (brushing hair, applying makeup, spraying perfumes) is not permitted.
13. Putting your head down in class is not acceptable. Teacher reserves the right to assign a zero for the day.
14. Have a positive attitude and do your best everyday.
15. Come see me if you are having trouble in class. My goal is simple: to help you succeed.
