Course Description:

Business Sampler is open to any student in the eighth or ninth grade that is interested in experiencing portion of the offerings in the Business Department. Business Sampler provides students with the opportunity to experience variety of areas in business. These areas will include Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Law, Management, Entrepreneurial skills, and Computers. Students who complete this course will be able to make an educated decision regarding future courses and career fields.

Introduction to Business, 4th Edition
School Store

Procedure for Evaluation:

BONUS—will be given throughout the semester, if and when the teacher believes it is necessary

***Assignments of all kinds are due at the beginning of the period that it is suppose to be done. NO CREDIT for late assignments.


Standard of Evaluation:

The marking system for this course is based on the percentage points earned through the procedure listed above. The following grading system will be the standard for this course:

            4     A     93-100 Excellent
            3     B     85-92 Above Average
            2     C     77-84 Average
            1     D     70-76 Below Average
            0     F     Below 69 Failure
