Chris Stultz |
Mr. Stultz joins the Indiana Area School District as the principal at the Indiana Area Junior High School. Prior to coming to the Junior High, he was the associate principal at Derry Area High School for one year and a vice principal at Baldwin High School in Pittsburgh for three years. He was a learning support teacher for several years at Blairsville High School before entering the ranks as an administrator. He earned his Master’s Degree and principal’s certificate from the University of Pittsburgh and is currently in a doctorate level program at Pitt, working towards a Supervisory Certificate for Special Education. He has two bachelor’s degrees from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania; one in Education and one in Criminology. He spent twelve years working in the field of juvenile corrections. He coached track and cross-country for several years at Homer Center and is a working musician, performing a solo acoustic act at various venues throughout western Pennsylvania. He and his wife have a combined six children, keeping them both quite active in family affairs and activities.

Ms.
Marilyn Walther
|
Marilyn Walther joins the Indiana Area School District administrative team as the assistant principal at the Indiana Area Junior High School. She previously served as principal of a private school serving grades 1-12 and was a math teacher in the Norwin School District for fourteen years. While there, she also served in the roles of Technology Trainer, Middle School Team Leader, and Mathematics Department Chairperson. Prior to entering the field of education, Ms. Walther worked as a Systems Engineer for IBM. She earned a B.S. in Secondary Education with a minor in Mathematics, a Masters degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics and Computer Science, and principal certification at California University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Walther has three daughters and enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with family and friends.
