Mr. Michael Minnick became the principal at Ben Franklin Elementary School in 2004.  Mr. Minnick completed his undergraduate work at Kent State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  In 1996 he earned his elementary certification from the University of Pittsburgh, where he went on to earn is Administrative I certification in 2002.   Prior to coming to  the Indiana Area School District, Mr. Minnick taught for seven years in the Mt. Lebanon School District.  He enjoys being a part of the culture of Ben Franklin Elementary School and sustaining it as a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young learners.
